About The Position

What will you do?

 As Promo’s Recruiter, you will be a crucial part of the company’s growth and success by leading the recruitment process, bringing in the best talent, and creating and supporting our company culture.

The Sourcing Specialist’s responsibilities include searching social networks and networking sites to identify potential candidates, sending recruitment emails and organizing an effective employee referral system. To be successful in this role, you should have a combined knowledge of sourcing techniques with out of the box thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for building a strong talent pipeline for our company’s current and future staffing needs.


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Use social media networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook and others) to look for and connect with potential candidates
  • Interact with professionals on niche platforms, like Github and Behance
  • Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify each position’s requirements
  • Send recruitment emails and follow up with candidates
  • Contact past applicants for new job opportunities
  • Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals
  • Log candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases
  • Identify future hiring needs and proactively source potential hires
  • Measure and report on recruiting metrics, like a source of hire and time-to-fill

What do you need to succeed?

  • Proven work experience as a Sourcing Specialist, Sourcer or a similar role
  • Enthusiasm for social networks, professional sites, and resume databases
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (particularly business email writing knowledge)
  • Passion for people, recruitment, and talent acquisition
  • Problem-solving abilities and both results, and detail oriented
  • Be a self-motivated, proactive team player with a positive attitude
  • Be autodidactic, flexible, and comfortable with a fast-paced startup environment
  • Global recruitment experience - Advantage
